COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will help you improve your knowledge about physiology and anatomy that will set up foundations for better understanding Pathophysiology of diseases. This course will cover following topics:

• • Basic principles in physiology
  • An introduction to cell system
  • Overview of the immune system
  • A brief discussion about tissue
  • Anatomy and physiology of the skin
  • Anatomy and physiology of the nervous system
  • Anatomy and physiology of the endocrine system
  • Anatomy and physiology of the skeletal system
  • Anatomy and physiology of the muscular system
  • Anatomy and physiology of the cardiac system
  • Anatomy and physiology of the respiratory system
  • Anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system
  • Anatomy and physiology of the digestive system
  • Anatomy and physiology of the renal system
  • Anatomy and physiology of the reproductive systems
  • Anatomy and physiology of the special senses
  • A brief discussion in genetics .

After completing each topic in this course, you will receive certification of completion from VSHS for that topic. You will be able to combine a series of topics related to the same course and earn credit values for that course. Putting together a few courses may help you to be eligible to apply for a certification in that can be used for certification in a diploma program at VSHS i.
